  • Types

    • Unifocal
    • Bifocal
    • Invisible bifocals
    • Progressive lenses
    • Trifocal or multifocal
    • High index (thinner lenses for strong prescriptions)

This patented formulation consists of unique dyes that are integrated into the surface of the lens. The dyes are made up of molecules that constantly and smoothly recalibrate as the light around you changes. They darken and lighten to just the right degree so the optimal amount of light reaches your eyes.

Shaw Lenses

Shaw Lenses

Designing lenses that take into account how both eyes work together is not an easy task. The math is complex in a purely theoretically environment and SHAW lenses factor in other variables like frame dimensions, the position of the glasses on an individual patient’s face and the limits that lens manufacturing and optics place. The SHAW lens process uses a patent-pending method to accurately model eye rotation in order to predict distortions caused by eye glasses. This reduces or eliminates the distortion other lenses can cause. The key to making a SHAW lens is the measurement of Motor fusion (vergence) limits by the optometrist using Risley prisms. It’s these tolerances that make all the difference. It may be a therapeutic lens option for patients with aniseikonia or anisometropia and is best determined and prescribed by your Optometrist or licensed eye care professional.
